Wanda Gibert and her husband, John, started their home school journey in 1986. As one of the pioneering families in Illinois, The Giberts have been active in home school leadership positions from the onset.

Currently Wanda serves with her husband on Illinois’ state board, Illinois Christian Home Educators (ICHE). Her administrative and organizational skills are used as she manages various positions on the Convention Committee as Speaker Coordinator, Hotel Liaison, and her passion: Hospitality Coordinator. Desiring to encourage homeschool moms, Wanda envisioned a day of renewal and refreshment and The Midwinter Renewal Conference for Women was born.

Using her passion for writing, Wanda co-authored Beautiful Words in 2005. Beautiful Words encourages mothers to leave a legacy through the power and beauty of a written letter. Her second book, in the Spiritual Legacy series, My Selah Moment, is  an interactive devotional guide, designed to lead women in a meaningful intimate encounter with The Living God. Her latest book, A Holy Influence, is an in-depth study for women who are serious about deepening their relationship with the Lord and their husbands.

In 2008, Wanda combined her passion for writing, teaching experience and her research skills and produced Telling the Whole Story™, Africans in Americans History Series. This ground breaking curriculum paints an accurate picture of our great American heritage.

Wanda is a popular speaker and mentor whose compassion and love for the Savior overflows as she powerfully shares the principles of the Word of God. She has spoken at home school support groups, conferences, churches, and MOPS groups.  Wanda uses her gifts to bring practical solutions to “problems” within the church and home school communitie

Wanda loves to open her heart and home to all that need a safe haven. Loving God, being a wife to her best friend, John,  mom to her six children, and Me-Mee to her one spunky granddaughter, Nyel, is one of her greatest delights.

The Giberts reside in northern Illinois where Wanda loves to observe God’s hand through the changing seasons of life.
